Strength at Play

A quick routine that gives mom a real workout while the kids get a game, a challenge, and a chance to burn off energy.

1. One‑Minute Plank Challenge

Mom: full plank Kids: place a toy on their back and try to keep it there for the whole minute Winner: whoever keeps their toy on the longest without it falling.

Solid core burn for you, instant competition for them.

2. Balance + Reach

Mom: stand on one foot, slow overhead reach, switch sides Kids: stand on one foot and try to “touch the sky” without wobbling Winner: whoever holds their balance the longest.

Quiet, focused, and surprisingly fun for kids.

3. Strength Station

Mom: 10 slow, controlled squats Kids: 10 “rocket jumps” — jump up and land soft Winner: whoever finishes with the best form.

This gives you real lower‑body work and gives them a burst of energy.

4. Power Hold Challenge

Mom: 20‑second wall sit Kids: 20‑second “freeze pose” Winner: whoever holds their position without breaking.

You get a leg burn, they get a game.

5. Dance Party Finish

One song. Full energy. Winners’ choice of song!

Ends the routine with joy instead of exhaustion.
